A screenwriter and journalist, Serge Bramly is also a novelist. His work includes L’itinéraire du fou (Flammarion, 1978) which won the Del Luca prize for best first novel, La Danse du loup (Belfond, 1982), and a biography of Léonard De Vinci (JC Lattès, 1988) which won the Vasari prize.
