A journalist and a novelist, Françoise Simpère is a prolific author of erotic novels and self-help books. An expert on polyamorous relationships, she has written about her experience in Aimer plusieurs hommes (To Love Several Men, Pocket, 2004). She is also the main character in a Canadian 52-minute documentary made in 2007 by Martine Asselin called La grande amoureuse (The Great Lover). She has been happily married for 30 years, has two children, and has had a dozen lovers.
