Florence de Mèredieu is a professor of Esthetics and Art-Sciences at the University of Paris (I). She is the author of numerous articles on the arts that have appeared in La Nouvelle Revue Française, Traverses, Les Cahiers du Musée d’Art moderne, Art Press, Parachute, and more. She is also a writer of fiction, and an experimental film-maker.
