Éric Roussel is a historian and a columnist for Le Figaro. He is the author of the best-selling Georges Pompidou (Éditions Jean-Claude Lattès, 1984), and of Jean Monnet (Éditions Fayard, 1995) which received the “Prix de l’essai de l’Académie Française” and the “Prix Guizot”.
