Born in 1976, Coralie Trinh Thi has appeared in over sixty pornographic films for which she received France’s Best Rated-X Film Actress Award in 1995 in addition to twice winning the prestigious “Hot d’Or” Award in 1996 and 1998. She has also appeared in both short and feature films by noted French directors Gaspard Noé, Marc Caro, Laetitia Masson (En avoir ou pas), Catherine Breillat (Romance) and Olivier Dahan (Déjà Mort). Since 2000 she has worked as rock critic for Rock and Folk magazine, reviewing a variety of punk and heavy metal bands. Betty Monde is her first novel.
