Laurence Cossé is the author of many novels. From a religious, satirical thriller in which the characters fight over a six page letter proving the existence of God (Le Coin du voile, Gallimard 1997 / The Corner of the Veil, Scribner 1999), to an historical novel about Louis XV’s Prime Minister (La femme du premier minister, Gallimard 1990), Cossé has an enormous talent for suspense, intrigue, and devastating humor.
