Philippe Labro is a novelist , director, and journalist. His published works include: Des feux mal éteints, L’Étudiant étranger (Prix Interallié 1986; The Foreign Student, Ballantine, 1988), Un été dans l’Ouest (One Summer Out West, Ballantine), Le Petit Garçon, Le Traversée, and Manuella, published in France by Éditions Gallimard. His last work was a bestseller in France, a memoir of depression, Tomber sept fois, se relever hui (Albin Michel, 2003).
