Lucien X. Polastron is the author of Le Papier, 2000 ans d’histoire (Imprimerie Nationale, 1999), as well as several reference works on calligraphy. Livres en feu won the 2004 "Grand Prix de l'Essai et d'Histoire" given by the SGDL (Société des Gens De Lettres).
