Warmly received on publication, Nor Eddine Boudjedia’s first novel has been touted on the debut fiction lists of such magazines as Marianne and L’Express. Born in 1962, he is a first generation French-Algerian. His father, a Kabyle, was an electrician for several major projects, including the district known as La Défense. Boudjedia currently works in education administration after years training teachers at the Institut Universitaire de Formation des Maîtres and teaching at an at-risk high school in Seine-St.-Denis, in the north of Paris.
