Marcela Iacub, a researcher at the Centre National de Recherches Scientifiques, was trained as a lawyer. She has published Antimanuel d’éducation sexuelle (Bréal, 2005). Her columns on the legal and cultural aspects of censorship, pornography and the sexual revolution for the magazine Libération are collected in Bêtes et victimes, et autres chroniques (Stock, 2005). This is her first novel.
