Émile Peynaud
Émile Peynaud is credited with inventing the science of oenology. He is the author of many books on wine tasting and growing, including The Taste of Wine (Le Goût du vin, Dunod, 1996; Wiley, 2006) and Knowing and Making Wine (Wiley, 1984).
