Roger Faligot is a French journalist who specializes in covering the military and secret service. He worked in Ireland in 1973 after having been a freelance investigative journalist for British and Parisian newspapers and magazines (Ireland, England, and Japan). He was a special correspondent for the weekly magazine The European, based in London, for seven years in the 1990s. His works, translated into English, are The Chinese Secret Service (William Morrow & Co, 1990); La Piscine, the French Secret Service (Basil Blackwell, 1989); and Britain’s Military Strategy in Ireland: The Kitson Experiment (Zed Books, 1983).
