Remarkably well documented, Le Maroc en transition presents the many facets of Morocco’s complex situation, which is in complete opposition with widespread cliches found in most documents and tourist guides.
Author
Pierre Vermeren : Pierre Vermeren was born in 1966. A Ph.D in history, Vermeren spent seven years in North Africa, among which six in Morocco as a teacher. He is the author of a thesis called La formation des élites maghrébines au XXe siècle, which won the Le Monde de la recherche universitaire Prize in 2001.
