The flight would change her life, but tragically: the weather was foggy and the plane Dorine was in crashed against a mountain in the upper Loire Valley. Dorine was the sole survivor, and was found by a search party early the next morning, half crushed under the plane, alone and freezing, but alive... This is the story of Dorine's life from the accident till today, and of her pursuit, against the odds, of her dreams. She obtained her pilot's license at the age of twenty, only four years after her accident forced her to completely reinvent herself, mid-adolescence. By twenty-seven, her age today, she will have been a winner of the Toulouse to Saint-Louis du Senegal race, retracing the itinerary of the legendary "Aeropostale"; participated in the Tour de France for Aviation; and become President of the Handicapped Pilots' Association of France's national aviation club. Dorine will be coming to the United States in early 2004.
