Fred is a lost young man. Between his migraines, a dissertation he never started, a father who acts more like his banker, and the sexual desert, he tries to live his life.
One night, he is woken up by the phone. His ex-girlfriend Kristine asks him to come over as fast as he can. There, he finds her boyfriend Pierre, "the sickly clone" and Paul, "a revolutionary brute". This small group of young idealists will soon be the center of greater events in the world at large. They all go to Berlin and become involved in a huge and bloody demonstration. Fred's cousin is in Berlin too, accompanying her husband, Fabio, to a strange institute specializing in sexual problems. She gradually discovers she has telekinetic powers, meets Rosa, and falls in love with her.
The roads taken by each one of the characters will intersect in a tremendous and very poignant surreal and tragic climax. After that, nothing will be the same again.
