Description

One of the most famous doctors in the world, discoverer of the AIDS virus, presents a wealth of new research with a focus on prevention. Fighting for Life hit the best-seller list in France two weeks after publication.

Dr. Luc Montagnier presents in this latest book methods to reduce the factors that put our health at risk. Inspired by his research into AIDS and the results of many scientific experiments, he shows how many diseases that we associate with getting older can in fact affect any one of us at any age. By highlighting their precise causes, we could, according to the author, go a long way toward preventing them.

After moving to the United States, Montagnier continued his research on the HIV virus. In the process, he uncovered other pathogenic agents that shed new light on cancer and other chronic illnesses. His recent interests include alternative medicine and prevention. He addresses the limits and challenges medicine faces today, such as virus mutations, and with insightful new discoveries, sheds light on the path toward a longer, healthier life.
