Sliv Dartunghuver, idealistic and fresh out of the University of Reykjavik, is hired by an environmental consulting firm. He soon realizes that his employer is covering up the activities of a secret international organization, the Reality Falsification Bureau. The RFB develops scenarios and establishes them as reality by creating false sources or altering existing ones. For instance, Laika, the first dog ever sent into space, would have never existed and the Vikings would have discovered America several centuries before Christopher Columbus.
